Locate your precincit. You have no margin for error

Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell scored a victory in the 6th U.S. Circuit court of Appeals in Cincinnati and so Ohioans will have to make sure they make it to the right precinct if they want to vote on Election Day. The appeals court reversed the more generous (and Ohioblog thinks correct) ruling of U.S. District Judge James G. Carr of Toledo that a voter could cast a provisional ballot anywhere in his county if he found himself at the wrong polling place or somehow left off the voting roll. Ohioans must protect their own votes. The Help America Vote Act won't do it, as different states apply different standards. Talk about states rights. A federal election, however, should be governed equally. This one won't be. Voter beware.
