Ohio still too close to call but not Western Europe
Despite having made the call for President Bush in Southeast Ohio, Ohioblog stillsees this swing state as too close to call. Forget the polls that give the president more than a margin-of-error lead in Ohio and other swing states.
Ohioblog is with Dailykos and the Harris Interactive, which reports in with a Sept. 13 poll of likely voters (with a 3 percent margin of error). Harris found Kerry ahead 48 percent to 47 percent.
There remain some polls who give President Bush a wide and winning margin. Believe them if you want. Ohioblog does not.
If Western Europeans could vote in our election, it would not be close: They prefer Kerry to Bush by a 6-to-1 majority.
This report, which includes France, does not indicate whether those polled had had too much wine for lunch.
