Ohio, start your economic engine. Don't ask how you get out of neutral

Good economic news for Ohio (for a change). Honda has announced that it will build a smaller, less expensive 2006 Acura SUV at either its Marysville or East Liberty plant.

But even Ohio's good economic news comes with a catch: The new line will not result in new jobs. It will only allow the state to keep those it has.

Wonder how the campaigns will spin this news? A guess: President Bush will say this proves even Ohio is rebounding economically, while John Kerry will hammer this as another uptick of the jobless recovery.
