    As the flippers flop

The Dayton Daily News offers cogent editorial on the flip-flop issue, with ample evidence that President Bush has changed his mind on issues or said one thing and utlimately done another as often as John Kerry his Democratic challenger.

Both men are flawed as leaders. That isn't the point. The point is the two political parties attempt in a campaign to turn the opponent into a caricature, often succeeding. These men are serious and the issues they must address complex.

Let's recognize as much and knock off the flip-flop chanting and symbolism.
